From the Ocean Front:
Take Interstate 264 (OLD VA 44 ?or known to the locals as the TOLL ROAD) away from the Ocean Front to Interstate 64 going toward Chesapeake. Follow Interstate 64 East (even though you think you are going south) for about 2 miles to EXIT 286. You want the second turn off (Indian River Road EAST) stay on Indian River Road to the second traffic light (about .3 mile), turn right onto Centerville Turnpike. Stay on Centerville Turnpike for approximately 1.5 miles, you will turn right onto Kempsville Road (I believe this is the first traffic light, however there was talk of putting up another traffic light) there is a 7-11 on the corner. Stay on Kempsville Road for about .2 mile you will see a school on your right. The park is just past the school (you can see it from the road).
From downtown Norfolk:
